MODBUS to SNMP Converter/Gateway (MB2SNMP-2IO)

Funambolo’s MB2SNMP-2IO is gateway device that enables DCIM systems using SNMP proptocol in status monitoring and control of devices which are on MODBUS via SNMP in data center infrastructure / environment monitoring and automation control. The SNMP manager in a DCIM system can read contents of mapped MODBUS registers through SNMP Get.

SNMP server can also activate any of the four relays (potential free contcts) avaialble on the converter to activate or switch off any equipment in the data center, connected to these relay contacts through SNMP Put command. It also acts as a standalone intelligent data device that continuously collects modbus registers data (time stamped) and the SNMP server can collect this data at periodic intervals through SNMP GET BULK, thus avoiding the necessaity of continuously polling Modbus registers.

The converter can also generate alarm alerts automatically to SNMP server through SNMP Trap, when any modbus register data breaches the threshold condiditon pre-set by the user. It can also be configured to send alerts through email to users whose email addresses are pre-programmed in the system

SNMP Dry Contacts Monitor (DCM164IP-SNMP)

Funambolo’s DCM164IP-SNMP is a dry contact monitoring system that enables DCIM systems using SNMP protocol in critical condition monitoring of important systems such as air conditioners, ventilation systems, UPS status, security systems, alarm panels, or emergency generators.

It can monitor upto 16 dry contacts and provides 12V isolated power to the dry contacts of these systems to read their status. It also features 4 Potential free relay contacts that enables DCIM systems in Switching ON / OFF of critical systems through SNMP network.

The SNMP manager in a DCIM system can read contents of these dry contacts through SNMP Get. Funambolo Environment Monitoring Gateway (FTEM16-W)

Funambolo’s FTEM16-W is an intelligent, stand alone and cost-effective DCIM solution that enables monitoring of most of the essential infrastructure parameters in a data centre.

FTEM16-W is an intelligent device which enables monitoring of various sensors and power devices using simple and open SNMP protocol with a single IP address. Thanks to its multi-port support that eases the connection of various monitoring sensors to a single system thus eliminating the need to have multiple devices supporting multiple protocols. It provides support up to 8 smart power meters through Modbus, up to 2 nos of smart PDUs without a need for separate IP address, 12 environmental sensors (seperately available) and 4 nos of access control sensors through a customised Modbus like interface. It also features 2 nos of potential free relay contacts for remote control of any system or for controlling flashing beacons, or electronic handles etc.

Wired/Wireless Digital Temperature & Humidity Sensor (FT-DTHS))

Funambolo’s Digital Temperature and Humidity sensor is designed to accurately monitor the temperature and humidity in a data centre or a server rack. The sensor has a LCD display to display temperature readings and Humidity readings recorded at any moment. The temperature reading is shown in 0C and 0F formats and humidity in %RH format. The display scrolls through each of these readings in 3 second interval.

The sensor is an intelligent device and has internal Real-time clock and large Solid State Flash memory. This allows the sensor to record time stamped temperature and humidity readings in its internal Solid State Flash memory for a period of 30 days. This feature saves time for the operational personnel to record reading at regular intervals or DCIM systems to regularly poll these sensors. These devices support a MODBUS like protocol which allows upto 16 devices to be connected in cascade mode per line using a standard RJ45 Cable.

The sensor can be fixed to the server rack at any position by placing it on the rack surface through an inbuilt magnet in the sensor. These devices can be connected to a Funambolo’s Sensor gateway, which can monitor these devices remotely.

A wireless version of these sensors is also available which connects to wireless gateway through its 868MHz ISM band interface.
